Waves and Ripples Hair salon was established 25 years ago.  It has been under new management for the past 5 years (and still growing strong). We only use Schwartzkopf professional products and have their full range available for any hair related problem to make life easier and your hair more manageable.

We are a unisex hair salon and also do creative work on Caucasian and ethnic hair types. We have a brilliant hair stylist, Pinkie Gomba specialising in ethnic styling. Ladine professional products are used for the chemical process on ethnic hair and Schwartzkopf retail ranges for after care at home.

We specialize in brides to make that special day unforgettable and offer a variety of blow wave packages. We also do Hair Extentions and Nails.

We also offer loyalty cards to men who require frequent haircuts.  Every 5^th haircut for free.

Waves & Ripples offers free consultation including colour analyses; making the correct colour choice aswell as changing hair colour according to the season.  We do face shape analyses; choosing the perfect hairstyle to fit with your unique lifestyle.  Consulting on the correct product to use for your unique hair type and solving any hair related problems. Our team regularly attend training courses, functions and fashion shows to keeping informed and up to date with the latest products, techniques and fashion.

We are doing a lot of exciting projects. We are involved in a few movies, working behind the scenes assisting the actors to look their best. We were involved in “Superhelde”, “Liefling” aswell as “Getroud met Rugby”.

Willem van Heerden is responsible for all business matters of the salon.  Managing the salon by regularly attending business seminars, hair shows and arranging the best training for the stylist. Keeping informed and up to date with the latest products, techniques and fashion.
